For SEND Families — myHomeEdPlan
For SEND Families

Generic education resources were not built for your child. This was.

myHomeEdPlan was designed from the ground up for children whose needs don't fit a standard education. Not adapted. Not accommodated. Built around them from the start.

See how it works
Why generic doesn't work

The problem isn't your child. The problem is that the system wasn't designed for them.

Generic education was built for a fictional average child who sits still, follows instructions, and engages with any topic regardless of interest. That child does not exist in most homes. It certainly didn't exist in mine.

Educating a neurodivergent child means constantly adapting delivery, reframing language, managing sensory responses, and finding the entry point that works today. It means matching their actual working level, not their age on paper.

Off-the-shelf resources hand you a worksheet and leave you to figure out the rest. myHomeEdPlan builds around your child's actual needs, working level, and EHCP/IEP targets — worksheets, session guidance, hints when they're stuck, and detailed progress tracking, all included.

Resource platforms give you thousands of resources. Not one of them knows your child refuses drawing activities, needs movement breaks, and engages only when Minecraft is involved.
AI apps generate a plan that forgets your child the moment you close the tab. It doesn't adapt. It doesn't remember.
Curriculum packs assume your child will cooperate. They were written for neurotypical learners in a classroom of thirty. Your child is not.
Systemic reviews and assessments ask you to demonstrate suitable education, but nothing you've used so far tracks progress, generates evidence, or speaks the language education officers need to hear.
How it's different

Every part of the system is built around your child's actual profile.

The intake form captures everything that matters

You tell us about your child — interests, learning style, diagnosis, and what to avoid. This isn't a note in the margin. It's baked into every word of every activity.

Activities are generated with your child's profile applied

Adapted language, shorter sessions, built-in movement breaks, clear connections to interests, warm entry points, no time pressure. Minimal writing demands, verbal alternatives, screen-free options.

Every activity has explicit support layers

A gentle start, support if it's too hard, hints if they get stuck, and a challenge extension if they want more. Nothing assumes engagement on the first try.

Kids Zone and Mini-Challenges engage reluctant learners

Gamified practice, personal-development mini-challenges, and reward badges are often the first thing reluctant learners actually show up for.

The adaptive system notices what works

Every activity rated teaches our SmartTracker system how best to support your child. Over time it builds a picture of this specific child nothing else can replicate.

Evidence that speaks the right language

On-demand progress reports use professional educational language local authority and state education officers recognise. Evidence is collected naturally, not as a separate task.

Sarah Withers
About the founder

I built this for my own child first.

I am the home educating single parent of an AuDHD child. I took my child out of school because school wasn't working — not because my child wasn't capable, but because the system wasn't capable of meeting her where she was.

I spent over a decade as a specialist SEND and mainstream teacher before that, and I'm now an active school governor. I know what good provision looks like from the inside. I know what education officers need to see. I know what "suitable education" means in practice for a child with complex needs.

I built myHomeEdPlan because I needed it and it didn't exist. Every decision in how this platform works — from the way activities are framed to the language in the progress reports — comes from that dual position of educator and parent.
