About the product
What exactly is myHomeEdPlan?
A monthly subscription to a personalised, adaptive learning platform. Fill in a 5-minute intake form, then get access to seven subjects worth of tailored activities, full delivery guidance, skills trackers, on-demand progress reports. Every activity adapts based on how the last one went. You also get personal development mini-challenges, gamified practice and monthly life skills projects.
How is myHomeEdPlan different from a generic curriculum pack?
A curriculum pack gives you content. We give you a complete system, personalised to your child, with delivery guidance built-in, and it adapts as they progress. A static resource pack can't do that.
How is it different from using generic AI tools?
A generic AI tool forgets your child the moment you close the tab, no memory, no tracking, no system built around what education officers actually need to see. myHomeEdPlan is a purpose-built platform, not a one-off prompt.
Is this a screen-based platform? I don't want my child using the screen much at all.
You use the screen, your child doesn't have to. Activities are hands-on: materials, drawing, conversation, building and more. Worksheets can be printed, done verbally, or scripted by you - all entirely optional. The only exception is Computing. Prefer no screens at all? Note it on your intake form and we'll build the whole plan around that. The only screen will be to see the activity details.
Is the plan actually personalised or just a template with names swapped in?
Genuinely personalised, content, pacing, language, and challenges all shift based on your child's profile. A 7-year-old with ADHD who loves dinosaurs and hates writing gets a completely different plan from a 10-year-old with dyslexia who loves football. Not a copy-paste job.
Is there a free trial?
Yes - try it free for 3 days before you're charged anything, so you can see exactly how it works for your child first.
About your child
What age range does it cover?
Ages 5 to 11. The activities align with the age expectations of your child's actual working age level - so, if they are working a year below their age expectations, the platform, language and session expectations will automatically adapt to match this.
My child is neurodivergent. Will it work for them?
myHomeEdPlan is built with neurodivergent children at the centre, not the edge. The intake form captures diagnosis, profile, and support needs, and every activity is generated around them. AuDHD, autism, ADHD, PDA, dyslexia, dyspraxia, anxiety, and SEMH are all accounted for. No formal diagnosis needed, just describe your child in your own words.
What if my child refuses to engage with activities?
Many children find the gamified practice in Game Zone or mini-challenges a fun way to get into using the platform. Every activity has a gentle start, built-in support if it's too hard, and hints if they get stuck. Rate it Challenging or Easy, and the system adjusts next time. Nothing is compulsory, skip and come back later.
My child doesn't follow any specific curriculum. Can I still use this?
Yes. Progress tracks against your child's actual working level, not a fixed sequence, so if you take a child-led approach, just pick activities as they become relevant. Aligned with the UK National Curriculum and US Common Core if that matters to you, but never a requirement.
We travel and worldschool. Does this work?
Yes. The intake form has a field for your main location, and the update tool on the parent dashboard allows you to change location as you travel. Explore Locally suggestions adapt to your location so you can connect your location to learning at any time. Activities are designed to work anywhere. The plan generates evidence in a format that holds up regardless of where learning happens.
What about a twice-exceptional child - very gifted but with significant challenges?
The system handles this well because the profile is set separately from the age level. You can tell us your child is 9 but working at a higher level, and what their specific challenges are. Activities will be challenging at the right level while still accommodating support needs, up to working age 12.
About the platform itself
How long does the plan take to arrive after signing up?
Once you have signed up, you complete the intake form and within an hour, you will receive an invite to create your parent login - where you will be able to access your parent dashboard and your child's platform immediately.
How many activities are in a month's plan?
The platform covers seven subjects with endless activities per subject. Most families cover 25–35 activities per month. It's designed to be abundant - you pick what fits your child on any given day. You don't need to complete everything.
How long does each activity take?
Activities are designed to take less than 15-20 minutes, though this varies by age and activity type, and is dependent on the answers you gave in your intake form relating to how much time you want to actually spend on learning. The estimate is a guide, not a rule.
Can I access previous months' plans?
You can access all previous progress information and saved online work. Your program is ongoing - updated after each session, so progress is stored and logged for you to always look back on when you want.
Can I use it alongside something else?
Yes. Some families use myHomeEdPlan as their full learning system. Others use it as a backbone alongside school, interest-led days, forest school, or subject tutors.
About evidence and the progress reports
What does the on-demand progress report include?
The report is generated from your child's activity data and covers five sections: Overview of Provision, Subjects and Skills Covered with progress and development, Child Engagement, Evidence of Learning, and Forward Planning. It uses professional educational language structured in the way that educational officers and professional reviews and assessments expect to be delivered.
How do I generate the progress report?
From your dashboard. Choose any date range - this month, the past term, or a custom period, and which subjects you want it to cover (all, a few, or only one or two). It generates instantly and is available to view and download immediately. You'll also receive it by email.
What counts as evidence for systemic reviews and assessments?
Photos of completed work, audio or video, saved worksheets, dated notes on a conversation, anything your child produces. No formal assessments required - myHomeEdPlan uses ongoing analysis of your child's progress and adapts automatically.
